Migration geschafft. Meine #OPNsense rennt jetzt auf einem #R86s mit einer 10Gbit-Anbindung an #Fiber7-X.

大約半年前我把 #Ubiquiti #EdgeRouterX（erx）的韌體改成 #OpenWrt ，原廠韌體的UI不錯但是很難擴充功能。

上個月我家的網路升級到300M/100M，跑測速發現只能跑150M左右，原因在於開啟 #SQM #QoS ，這個功能只能運作在單核心，而erx的CPU運算能力很弱。關掉QoS之後雖然可以跑到300M，但是CPU負載很高。

erx用的SOC是聯發科 #MT7621 ，可以開啟硬體加速（Hardware offloading），開啟之後即使網路頻寬用滿CPU也毫無壓力，問題是SQM QoS也無法使用。

如果必須要使用SQM的話，可能就要考慮x86 CPU的路由器，如下面連結這台 #R86S 。

This example with a Mellanox CX-3 inside, 2.5G/10G ethernet! 10W-30W on a 12V power supply, looks "tiny but mighty" and maybe just maybe it would work in a hypervisor setup.
