So pet travellers this appears to be a thing now.
The rabies vaccine is valid for 1 year only in France and Greece but in UK the same vaccine is valid for 3 years. This means if you travel to UK from EU at a time close to your pet's (EU) vaccine expiry date, you'll be fine to enter UK but getting back in to France will be an issue as, my understanding is that UK vets cannot endorse entries in an EU Pets Passport.
