We’re living through a mass extinction event, and #ecology isn’t taught at UK schools.

Why? Is it because if we knew what we were doing, we would stop? Or just because ecology doesn't make any money?

I'm still thinking about the Radical Anthropology talk by Jerome Lewis that I listened to today about the egalitarian culture of hunter gatherers in many parts of Africa. It was fascinating on so many levels but also really instructive in how a society can maintain egalitarianism so I had to delve a bit deeper so I thought I'd share that here for anyone else interested.
