In times of low activity, I always get something that reminds me of previous activities in #hamradio .
Like winning the UBA DX SSB #hamradiocontest in my category in 2022.
The pre-special-military-operation era. When UA and UR stations filled my log at a steady pace.
Now we need stable peace...

Did you know that the World Radiosport Team Championship (a.k.a WRTC) runs an annual event of WRTC branded special event stations all around the world? They're on the air all of January 2023 for amateur radio operators to make contact with. So far I've contacted 10 unique stations across the US, Portugal, Canary Islands, and Bulgaria using single side-band (voice) and morse code.

I’ve learned much of the CW in this weekend’s CQ WW DX contest is currently too fast for me. QSOs Fri & Sat and two failed attempts today resulted in 17 QSOs for QRP on 20 meters. #amateurradio

@kb8pfz Did Saturday and later also decided to do Sunday. Had a strategy and did QRP. Hard fought for QSOs. There needs to be a single band category.
