frustrating things I learned the last 2 days
#Yubikeys gpg-card default pin is 123456, admin pin is 12345678. if you enter the admin key 3 times wrong, you need to factory reset the gpg-card feature

If you use pinentry loopback (CLI-input), it wont tell you if you need to enter the user or admin pin. #gnome console doesnt work reliably with the loopback pinentry, the loopback itself is very wonky.

I'll be using #rage (https://github.com/str4d/rage), but #age command line is exactly the same.

Anyone can encrypt file intended for that recipient:
rage --recipient age1...26fu --output super.secret.age cat.txt

Recipient having his x25519 PRIVATE key inside identity.x25519, can decrypt the file.
rage --decrypt --identity identity.x25519 --output super.secret.age unknown.txt

Why companies choose muzak-lite for their hold music instead of classical music I will never understand. There's plenty of high-quality, free, recordings of great music. Wimpy easy-listening jazz music is probably the worst possible music in any multiverse I can imagine. At least Christian music has some sincerity.

It's doubly annoying because you only get it when you're on hold for some issue, the aural equivalent of telling somebody angry to "just chill". Grr.

This is unacceptable. I hate #Trump as much as anyone, but his minor #child is off limits, just as we would demand for the child of one of our #politicians. We are better than Trump and his moronic #supporters, but shit like this makes us no better than them. If you find yourself seething with #rage as you type a threat or attack on a #minor—any minor—step away from the #keyboard and take a walk.
