I stay out of the rubbish "one true Lara Croft" debate, but there's nothing like cosplaying Reboot Lara at a con to get a sense of how special she is to young girls, and Gen Zers in general, based on their excitement.

Of course you can have your favourite version, but one character, multiple iterations, the same passion and inspiration experienced by different people... that's the way it should be.
