It's finally done!

We had some issues with the custom them not being recognised anymore and the poor Mastodon documentation where some precious infos disappeared (we had to search web.archive.org to find something useful: https://web.archive.org/web/20190513231813/https://github.com/tootsuite/documentation/blob/master/Running-Mastodon/Customizing.md).

Anyway, we are now running Hometown v1.0.4+3.1.5, enjoy!

This update follow the release of Mastodon v3.1.5 with some security fixes and a small Hometown cosmetic fix.

Here is a short post to summarise how this instance work.

First, we are running the #Hometown (https://github.com/hometown-fork/hometown) Mastodon fork, it enable some nice privacy features like local only posting (without federation).

Registrations are open but they need admins approval before you can login for the first time.

Instance's owner is @kyzh (who is an admin), @mthld is doing moderation and technical stuff (through a cooperative named Clic2000).
