Took the A train twice yesterday between 168th and 207 and both times did not see or ride in the new R211. I'd normally take the 1 all the way to 207 but this worked as the Bx12SBS goes to and comes from 207 and Broadway.

I had a good day at the #modeltrainclub running my UP and VIA passenger train consists for some young enthusiastic #railfans

They had a blast taking pictures of the HO and N scale layouts , and getting to take the reins of some of the locomotives.

I'm so happy to help be able to give wonderful opportunities like I had at that age and foster more of that passion.

A little trip down memory lane for any railfans out there. British Railways type 2 locomotive D7541 attending an open weekend at Thornaby Depot in the North East. The Depot is but a memory and the locomotive now hundreds of miles away being restored.
