I came to a disturbing realisation.

While I'm playing #RailroadTycoon3, I'm sitting here, optimising routes for cost, and speed - particularly by doing that trade off between distance, windiness and elevation changes.

The disturbing realisation is that I think I might be doing something akin to Civil Engineering :s

The thing about #RailroadTycoon3 is it's a game, maybe? It's really a giant economic and logistics engine with game bits bolted on.
Honestly, the economy does a lot before you even get involved.

Got Silver first attempt on Argentina, but took a bunch of attempts to get the gold. Don't think I'll go back and get the missing golds later... I don't think I'm enough for a gold on Orient Express.

Orient Express map on #RailroadTycoon3. Never been so happy to get a silver - that was ridiculously difficult. Should have been final map in the game difficult. Getting a gold seems nearly impoossible.
