Pressing Start on another #Introduction post now that I've joined this instance! I'm a PC/mobile #gaymer who is constantly being given the side-eye by a Steam backlog that somehow keeps growing.

My sweet spot is #citybuilding games, simulations, and #turnbased strategy. My core games being:

Does anyone know any #4x or #citybuilder #videogames that allow you to play as #Mexico? (Not counting Aztecs or other indigenous people.)

#Everspace - Looked pretty and I like roguelikes and space.

#PhantomDoctrine - I really like #XCOM and this seemed to share some DNA, and the price was slashed to $3.99!

#RailwayEmpire - Buying to evaluate as a potential Christmas gift for my dad.

#TotalWarWarhammer - The Silence and the Fury DLC. My collection of lords grows ever larger! Hopefully the Chameleon Stalkers will open up some flanking + moral shock tactics.

Played some Railway Empire again and actually finished the first chapter for a change. I'm still trying to get to grips with its signalling system. I'm used to facing an arcane type signalling like you'd find in Transport Tycoon Deluxe (more specifically, OpenTTD).

But here I have to remember a few things:
- Trains will never collide with each other.
- The trains can see in one go whether a track's in conflict and will simply wait until it is not anymore.
- That means signals don't need to be as detailed as in TTD, they're purely for the efficiency.

I'll continue playing with chapter 2 soon and see if I can do the tracks a bit better.
