It's been more than 24 hours since Charlie crossed the #RainbowBridge and it's obvious that Stevie knows something is up. She's barely played with her toys, and while usually excited about her walk, was less enthused about tonight's potty time. She's also running to her landing for treats instead of sticking near where they're dispensed. Hopefully time will help her deal with the loss of her older brother.

Friday evening, approximately 2015 EDT, Charlie crossed the Rainbow Bridge to be reunited with his brother, Shadow, who has been waiting a little over 2 years for him. It was long in coming, yet still sudden. Many tears were shed. My long time kitty sitting ward has gone over the #rainbowbridge. I am devastated. My friend's kitty but I loved her so. Goodbye, Goldie. 💔💔

One of my cats has just passed away at the grand old age of 17. He's been declining for a couple of months - a creak of the joints, gradual weight loss, limiting his living space to the house and my bedroom sofa - but the end was, thankfully, swift when it arrived.
