Adoption handler, ligesom ægteskab, om jura og arveret og altså ikke om kærlighed og familie.
Adoption hænger altså uløseligt sammen med kapitalisme, patriarkatet og en forestilling om at den heteronormative kernefamilie er det rigtige. Adoption er ikke løsningen, familier med flere forældre er løsningen.

Mastodon, has a surprising wealth of old Dead-Heads. Which, kinda thrills me.
Good friends, good memories. Life on the tour seems harder to explain as the years go by.
Not without it's pitfalls of course, but getting to participate in a culture of high-idealism, and a "we can make it" spirit, was something I'll always treasure.

Yesterday I was asked to photograph Carols by Queerlight in St Kilda, Melbourne. It was a lot of hard work, but fun. I ended up taking double my normal amount of photos but culled half and ended up with 160 to give to the Rainbow Band. I really need a new camera that handles high ISO better; it would reduce the amount of editing I'd have to do afterwards!
