I've had my own email at a domain for many years, and I've tried using GUI webmail interfaces a few times. However, they've always been much slower to load messages than ssh->mutt.

I've tried #Roundcube, #Horde, and (currently) #SnappyMail (which is built off of #Rainloop), and they all perform about the same.

What am I missing here?

ήρθε λοιπόν καιρός για μεταφορά μας στο fork του rainloop, το snappymail. ήδη έχει στηθεί και δοκιμάζεται, ενώ τις επόμενες ημέρες θα γίνει κανονικό migration δεδομένων και κατάργηση του rainloop.
οι διαφορές ελάχιστες και ενδεχομένως οι περισσότερ@ που το χρησιμοποιουν, να μη καταλάβουν την αλλαγή.

Je cherche un outil capable d'interroger plusieurs comptes. Je n'ai pas l'impression que #RoudCube le fasse. Ou alors j'ai mal cherché. Il y a bien le client de #NextCloud mais il est moche et limité en fonctionnalités.

Des suggestions ?

Cette vulnérabilité concerne également le client WebMail intégré à Nextcloud. Il est conseillé de le désactiver au plus vite.

SnappyMail un fork de Rainloop n'est apparemment pas concerné par cette vulnérabilité.

Running a @yunohost server greatly facilitates
self-hosting a combination of email service (eg. #RoundCube or #RainLoop), cloud storage with @nextcloud, and if desired also personal social media instances for microblogging with @Mastodon or a videos with @peertube
There is a very good step-by-step install guide available - and a virtual server for a family-scaled installation of the above services is <5€/month

@chrichri Other than #Geary, sadly there just doesn't seem to be a #Pinephone email app at this time. That said, a number of the FOSS webmail clients work decently well, eg #Nextcloud #Mail. I haven't tried it, but I imagine #RainLoop would probably also work decently.

There is word that one of the main #PlasmaMobile devs is working on a lightweight KDE email client for #MobileLinux, too.

Oui mais voilà, #roundcube + #carddav (#baikal) me rendent une 503 lorsque me rends sur l'URL dédié aux mails
Bref je tente autre chose…

Pour le moment je n'ai pas réussi à configurer #sogo ou #rainloop pour récupérer mes mails de l'extérieur.

I knew about #rainloop, but hadn't looked in a while. I will say that it seems better than current #RoundCube, especially on desktop.

The mobile interface definitely has some #UX clunkiness. Mainly because of details that don't adjust from the desktop view. Tiny hit boxes. Unnecessary edge borders, distracting from content. A lot of the message area is unnecessarily cramped, because of wasted vertical space. It's decent. Many opportunities for improvement though

Un moyen simple de tenter l'aventure est d'utiliser #yunohost qui arrive en standard avec postfix et dovecot. On peut ensuite y ajouter #rainloop pour obtenir un webmail et wala

Ce serait le mien j'y mettrais des services peu sensibles à la coupure de courant/d'Internet comme #FreshRSS, #Wallabag, #Rainloop ou pourquoi pas #Cozy. Un serveur XMPP si j'avais des amis qui utilisent ce protocole. Ou un serveur #IndieWeb type #Aperture. Je sais même pas si #Yunohost est installable d'une quelconque façon.
