Originally composed for Dionne Warwick by Burt Bacarach who is probably one of the most prolific composer/songwriters ever.
However, you're about to hear the song re-imagined by Mr. Issac Hayes who said he came up with the music from watching the 1968 spaghetti western "Once Upon A Time in the West".
Hayes' rendition was recorded in 1969.
