Another semi successful #hamradio #fieldday. I meant to try my new 10.8m #randomwireantenna and #ARDOP #pat but apparently living in a mega city with buildings and #rf pollution makes things hard. Barely connected OE5XIR and HB9AK with 10 watts on 20 and 30 meter. 4 out of 5 packets fail to decode and connection drops. Good side my linked dipole and random wire rocks 😎 lets get a little higher ground and try again...

Where we are going we don't need dipoles...
Today I learned a lot about #impadence #transformers. They are quite picky about some unknown things. A #Nanovna saved the day by letting me measuring before putting everything together.
