Had lots of fun making this lil’ homage to the Rankin/Bass 1971 special, Here Comes Peter Cottontail. As a watch it’s bizarre, this is amplified by the campiest (and thus, best character) anti-Easter bunny villain archetype played by none other than Vincent Price.
There’s also a talking Easter bonnet and a pilot worm. Iconic!

Just finished #LFrankBaum ‘s “The Life and Adventures of #SantaClaus” and it should be required childhood reading over the holidays. Love how it creates a single #pagan narrative for so many traditions during the season. I also watched the 1985 #RankinBass special based on it. Cute, but the book’s better.

They only come around when Rudolph's condition becomes useful. Rudolph should have flipped them the hoof and told them Xmas was cancelled.
