Jo Dyer gives an excellent response to The Australian’s Janet Albrechtsen and her repeated attacks on women who dare to speak out. Especially on sexual assault:
“In Janet’s world this means that, despite Janet’s championing the right to free speech in every other forum, a woman is forever forbidden from speaking of her own lived experience, as a man’s right to an untarnished reputation trumps all.”

Tried to post about this twice earlier and managed to post without the link and then attributing the wrong author.
So, I’ve given myself a good talking to and am going to try again.
Jonathan Holmes has written an excellent piece on Murdoch media’s targeting of Louise Milligan. It’s not just the hypocrisy of the attack, but the disinformation involved.
..”Milligan has now found herself under attack, not only in The Australian and on Sky News, but in the Commonwealth parliament, for things she did not say and does not believe.”

Very worthwhile piece from Jonathan Green about the targeting of ABC reporter Louise Milligan by the Murdoch media. You’ll be shocked, I’m sure, to find not only are the (obviously co-ordinated) attacks hypocritical but also based on ‘alternative facts’. #RapeTrials #ABC #MurdochMedia #LouiseMilligan #WomenAndTheLaw
