@novid Looking for info on the efficiency of at-home rapid tests for XBB.1.5 Kraken. I'm trying to find what I've read on it which I thought was that people might not test positive until week 2. Is that actually the case?

It might be my neurodivergence but I have always been really bad at searching terms, so it's hard to just look it up without only finding minimizer articles saying our tests are just fine. But maybe they are?

Some people never test positive on #RapidTests the whole time. It is just not a perfectly sensitive test: it doesn't pick up everyone with #Covid.

➡️ extra rapid tests and asking guests to test before coming
➡️ extra kn95
➡️ portable HEPA air filters in dining area
➡️ window will be cracked
➡️ hand sanitizer everywhere

It’s not just about #COVID when you have folks coming from all over with kids. (All are vaccinated/boosted). Taking precautions from the other lovely bugs out there.
