I've made really good progress on getting the streaming box set up, though there's still a ways to go. I've been using an unofficial build of #LineageOS designed for #RaspberryPi4 and installed #MicroG and #AuroraStore on it instead of GApps. Unfortunately, Aurora Store seems a bit buggy and I came seem to find the Netflix app. I did manage to download Disney+, though the app is not currently working since my device is not "certified", hopefully I can find a workaround.

Is there a simple way to test that #v3dv support is working under #Wayland on my #RaspberryPi4 ?

Will the price of the 2Gb model ever return to £35. I thought Ebon said it was only a temporary increase due to semiconductor shortages. I've a couple of projects that don't warrant the £55 4gb pi4.

Everytime i load up my 8gb #raspberrypi4 with at least over 20 #docker containers it randomly freezes. Htop shows cpu usage of about 10% and 2,5gb ram usage. The cause still eludes me.

Of course on a USB SSD. Poor microsd won't live long :)

I'm currently using #OpenHAB to link my home appliances and my #raspberrypi4 but at the moment it's running openhabian. Why? Because of my ZigBee and zwave dongles. The only reason I'm still using it like this is because I can't find a way to make it work with #FreeBSD. I was able to install everything using #FreeBSD but it doesn't recognise my dongles. Go figure 🤷

If someone has a solution I would be very happy 😁

Finally got my 2nd #RaspberryPi4 this week. I use the first for #Docker containers and have been worried for a while of the first breaking! The day of arrival the power adapter failed on the first unit! A warning sign!
Now converted 80% to use #DockerSwarm with #NFS storage via my #QNAP #NAS and using #KeepAliveD tracking my #Traefik instance to move the VIP around. All good fun!

The NAS is Synched overnight to a 2nd NAS - I am considering setting up real time sync between the two!

Running #HomeAssitant on my #raspberrypi4 2gb with #DebianBookworm was so so slow as the browser plus HA ran out of memory. So scrapped the Pi, bought a reconditioned Lenovo Tiny M93p PC from Amazon, wiped the Windows, installed Debian and now it's far better. It's roughly three times the size of the Pi, so that's OK as still small.

So, in today's @adafruit #raspberrypi4 purchasing adventure, we try again. This is the *fifth* time I've tried to order from them.

The site says that 98 RPi 4B 4GB are available. I sign out. I sign back in using 2FA. I add it to my cart successfully. I log into PayPal and use *their* 2FA to authenticate. Then I set up the payment. I go back to Adafruit's website to finish the order and I'm greeted with a confirmation.

We shall see how it goes today.

Haig de dir que el #Pixelfed, en #Docker, en una #RaspberryPi4 de 8 GB rasca una mica a la que s'interacciona mínimament. Però és un projecte que m'està agradant força.

Tinc pendent un seguit d'accions a provar, a veure si pot quedar confiable per a una instància personal.
