After waiting since March of 2021, my #CutiePi arrived this morning. First impressions of the build quality are good. It feels solid and the screen is acceptable. It's running #Raspian #Bullseye. It notified me immediately there were updates, but there was a missing dependency so it wouldn't do them. I manually forced it to #Bookworm, which destroyed the custom UI they've put on it. I reimaged the SDCard, and it's back to good. Tomorrow I try a new image I got a few minutes ago.

Messing around with Mini #vMac emulator on my #Pi3.

Very annoying issue. I don't know if it's my keyboard or ancient #Raspian or what but <alt>-<mouseclick> doesn't work, should be presented to macos as command-click.

With alt held down, the mouseclick is ignored. F2 should also be the command key but is ignored.

This made it very tricky to get stuffit expander to unarchive files pulled in by importfi. 😢

@schizanon my raspberry pi with #raspian works great, but I don't care about some drivers. No speakers plugged in and I usually run it headless.

Thinking about setting up an extra #RaspberryPi4 with #Fedora37. Wonder how the install process compares to the #Raspian?

@selea I have (by default it is), and it was confusing me why there is a service for ssh! This is a bad practice to change the name of a well-known and widely adopted service, esp. when that service is the first thing people enable for headless setups.

For instance, is it now /etc/sshd_config or /etc/ssh_config ? Both files exist but their function is different. No justification!

Isn't #Raspian supposed to accommodate newbies and students? Isn't it for educational purposes?

I have now got Grafana + InfluxDB + glances to work on my RPi server. But in order to send the data from glances to InfluxDB, I have to run glances --export influxdb and let it be like that. I don't want that!

Is there any command where glances save data to the database in the background?
