Yesterday I took my two oldest rats to the vet. Maurice, the oldest, is 2.5 years old and quite fragile so I hesitated to expose him to the stress of a vet visit, but he and his friend Frankie both needed a checkup. Rats don't usually live much over 2 years so Maurice is a venerable old dude.

Vet is very happy with both of them so that's a relief!

Maurice survived the trip. #today he is getting extra cuddles from my youngest rat, Saffy. She's deeply asleep right on top of him. Both of them totally blissed out. Rats love company, the more, the squashier, the better.
