Da ich Ratchet und Clank Rift Apart nun durch habe, erlaube ich mir nun auch finales Urteil über die Technik des PC Ports.

Ich bin mit der Qualität des Ports absolut zufrieden.
Ich habe in in den 17 Stunden Spielzeit nur zwei oder drei Abstürze gehabt.
Direct Storage hat auf meiner Geforce auch nicht rumgezickt.
FPS und Frametime waren auch gut.

Es benötigt auf hohen Settings viel HW Power, aber in Anbetracht der Grafik ist das gerechtfertigt.

Wow ich bin gerade etwas baff. Das Spiel ist ja ultraschnell beim Laden meines Savegames.

Es gab nicht mal einen Ladebalken und nach 1-2 Sekunden bin da wo ich gestern aufgehört😯

Also wenn dieses Verhalten Direct Storage zu verdanken ist, hat mich die Technologie direkt überzeugt😍

Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart genehmigt sich in den von mir genutzten Einstellungen übrigens knapp 20GB VRAM und gut 16GB RAM.

Came down to my kids and what they are play at the price of service. They are not playing the teen games or the mature games yet. PlayStation offers the games they play and at a great price. There are some games that I am looking forward to playing. I starting playing #RatchetAndClankRiftApart. Such a great game. Also looking forward to trying #LastOfUs out. Down the road #BaldursGate3 and #SpiderMan2

I have no idea what the problem is but #RatchetandClankRiftApart PC Port, I keep freezing. My PC hits the minimum and even recommended specs. So it's not like my PC is out of date.

In about three hours "Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart" will be released on PC.

I wish all of you who never got to play it before much fun with this awesome piece of work by #Insomniac, and I hope you'll all love Rivet as much as I do. 😊

(More and bigger Rivet screenshots I took on PS5 later today, when I hopefully still have them on my PS5.)

Es gibt eine wichtige Info für Besitzer von AMD Grakas, die den PC Port von Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart heute abend zum Launch spielen wollen.

Raytracing und Dynamic Resolution Scaling wird zum Launch auf AMD Grakas noch nicht unterstützt.
Der Treiber hat mit den genannten Features in dem Spiel wohl noch Probleme und kann Abstürze produzieren.

Nur einmal schlafen und dann kommt der PC Port von Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart raus🎉😀

Leider bin ich die nächsten Tage nicht zu Hause und habe daher keinen Zugriff auf meinen Gaming PC. Prinzipiell könnte ich den PC Port auf dem ROG Ally zocken, aber ich möchte das volle Raytracing und Direct Storage Programm haben.
Daher muss ich mich noch etwas gedulden.

Ich freue mich aber schon das Spiel morgen zu kaufen😃😁

So langsam kommt bei mir der Hype😁
Nächste Woche am 21.7.2023 kommt nämlich der nächste große AAA PC-Port von Sony raus; nämlich Rachet and Clank Rift Apart.

Für mich wird der Port das erste Ratchet and Clank Game sein.

Ich kann's kaum erwarten das Game zu zocken.

Recently completed Ratchet & Clank 2016 in anticipation of Rift apart on PC.
Oh boy, what a game :)

After that I went on and resumed my playthrough of OG Ratchet & Clank from 2002, now I'm planning to play through whole series
