@dan @nova I think the more commonly misunderstood concept is: Greed ≠ Rational Self-interest.

American “capitalism” is really just cronyism with a focus on concentration of wealth (greed). This is unsustainable, even for those with the wealth. Such irrational self-interest is actually self-sabotage, which would be fine if it didn’t destroy everyone and everything in its path.
