I'm having flashbacks to the commutes when I lived in London..... jeeeeezus, so happy not to be in the anymore.

The morning peak main line , sweltering summer weather, a four carriage train turns up instead of the usual eight/twelve carriages. No seats, stood up, jammed in and everyone absolutely dripping with sweat, cos there's no air con on the train.

Never again, ever.

I’m realizing now how hard it is to just get out of the (somewhat forced) “hyper productive” mode most of us are in while working in tech.

I’m in my third day of PTO and now starting to feel less guilty about literally *doing nothing*.

I somehow still show signs of what has been called “Revenge bedtime procrastination”, and it’s funny because I have all the time in the world right now.

Brains are weird.
