I've never been more proud to be from Aotearoa than when I saw a huge crowd of metal fans, from all around the world, going crazy to Alien Weaponry at Wacken. Their music is a glorious expression of both their whakapapa Māori and their European ancestry. The music video for Raupatu is right up there with the video to Right in Two by Tool, as one of the most deeply affecting piece of audio-visual art I've ever seen:
