Haben gestern im #Ravenduet mehr Zeit mit Lichkönig Azalin Rex verbracht. Es kündigt sich eine lose Zweck-Allianz an (die natürlich katastrophal enden wird).

Es ist am Ende sehr elegant, dass der gefährlichste Darklord von #Ravenloft ohne Lüge sagen kann "Ich war einst wie du, reisend bis die Nebel mich entrückten". Das öffnet noch ein bisschen die Tür, unsere Heldin mehr auf einen gefährlichen Pfad zu schicken und sich weiter in den Nebeln zu verstricken.

#Cy_Borg for my in person group of dads. We’ve known each other for 12 years since our kids were in preschool and have been gaming together for the majority of that time. We spent years in #5e including lots of time in #Ravenloft. I GM’d a homebrew zombie apocalypse campaign that started before COVID and was super helpful during lockdown! (Yay #Roll20)

I got my crew more recently into rules light attitude heavy Borg games which we all love!

Damit geht das #Ravenduet nach 3 1/2 Jahren in die Phase "Wie kommen wir hier wieder raus und nach Hause?"

So I'm at this point where the game I'm currently running (a #13thAge adaptation of #Ravenloft) is all prepped and ready and needs little work between sessions. And the game this is an intermission for (also a #13thAge game) is fairly well prepped. So I have no game prep to do -- so what do I do? START PREPPING OTHER GAMES.

My #DnD 5e campaign of the last three years is heavily #Earthdawn influenced, with imports from #ShadowsOfEsteren and a #Ravenloft module by #GoodmanGames, all heavily modified.

One of my players was going to miss game night because of her own birthday party, so we co-opted the other attendees (who had never played before) for a one shot and brought game night her. Everyone took over an NPC for this one shot.

Oh, wir haben immerhin das #Ravenloft #Requiem geschafft. Ein tragischer Prequel 5-Teiler, der jetzt Kanon für die Geschichte des #Ravenduets ist und den Untergang der Stadt "Il Aluk" erzählt.

Es war das Experiment eines Lvl-20-Fewshots mit von vorneherein bekannt schlechtem Ausgang. Das war sehr erhellend. Und sehr spaßig, weil Verschwörungen, Intrigen, Katastrophen und Lich-König Azalin Rex. Mit fantastischen Spielenden auch...

Composing creature encounter tables for my #Cyre1313 one-shot adventure, meaning I'm flipping through the #DnD #MonsterManual, #Mordenkainen's #MonstersoftheMultiverse, and #VanRichten's Guide to #Ravenloft for ideas.

This is kinda fun. Maybe a little disproportionate for some tables, but I'll see how it plays out in a playtest run.

Also, Van Helsing is a perfect movie for inspiration as I prepare my #Ravenloft epic campaign. It's got a lot of #Barovia, a little #Lamordia, and a #masquerade perfect for #Dementlieu. Also, I love the aesthetics and themes. Just a triple-A prep movie.
