So I needed to calm down and really relax deeply and decided to eat some Queen's Jewels Cannabis-infused gummies ( 100mg THC, Diamond Grape flavor, yummy! ), and settled in to watch "Ray", being a longtime admirer of Ray Charles and Jamie Foxx. I was enjoying the movie, until the dramatic injustice of the movie made me angry and recoil in horror and weep. I tried to imagine what it was like to be Ray and differently sighted. The thought horrified me. Endless darkness. Nothing to visually ground you. As in "The Illustrated Man", the imagination will soon fill the void left behind by sight, and unspeakable things of the subconscious will flood your vision, and you'll be unable to do anything about it. This thought scared me so much in my stoned state, that I didn't sleep all night. I've been up since 4am yesterday.
