And now, a bit of sadness, for me at least. Farewell Heroes of the Storm ! You were a great game for a long time and I enjoyed you immensely. I wish that Blizzard Activision hadn't given up on the game because it had so much potential and continues to have that potential of greatness. It's a great shame that it wasn't recognized as such and wasn't supported like other games in the MOBA genre were.

I absolutely, dearly loved the idea of The Nexus. A place that would bring characters from anywhere within the lore of Blizzard games to a centralized location where heretofore impossible interactions were suddenly available.

Released on June 2, 2015, I jumped in eagerly and enjoyed just about every aspect of it possible. Fell in love with so many characters such as James Raynor from Starcraft, Nazeebo and Azmodan from Diablo and Anduin from Warcraft. The lore has always been standout to me and it was a special place to be, for me, for a long time.

Sadly, the community has grown more and more toxic it seems. This, combined with Blizzard's giving up on this great game and putting it into maintenance mode have finally convinced me to end that journey.
