Read an article about the many times the #razzies have gotten things wrong, and now I am mad that the Razzies still exist.

The Razzies have been shit since the beginning (first set of Worst Picture nominees included Friday The 13th!). They have been shit every year since. Shut them down.

Movie making and acting is all about creativity and pushing the envelope. And this can work brilliantly or fail brilliantly. So if you never get nominated for a Razzie at least once in your career as an actor or a film maker, then you are not really trying.

Good. It's easy to say it's all just fun and games when you are going after superstars (like Tom Hanks), but this one just felt like bullying. The poor girl is just trying to get her career off the ground.

The Golden Rasperry awards are the absolute shittest banter. Every year, they embarrass everyone with weak jokes, easy targets, and the odd bit of bullying. Last year, they rescinded their award to Bruce Willis after we learned about his neurological condition. This year, they’ve nominated a 12-year-old girl for Worst Actress.

I like the idea of a satirical awards show, but the Razzies ain’t it. Shut them down.
