After acquiring the Harley Benton Beatbass I got considerably better playing and I was ready for a fullscale bass. Of course Thomann had something special: the RB-414, their take on the Rickenbacker 4000 series. I wanted to buy one in Autumn 2021, but I had to wait until January 2022 until it was available again.
