Went to my first #MLS match tonight, #RBNY vs. #DCUnited.

Cool:

- good vibe, even for a faded rivalry
- the supporters who, after getting off the train before the match, popped some flares, and started marching/chanting/leading the way to the stadium

Not cool:

- a whole lot of sloppy play
- #RBNY controlled play, yet seemed too timid to make truly threatening attacks
- #PATH single-tracking and running 25+-minute headways when they knew a big event was ending

Not that #rbny has been good but how are they below DC in the standings?
