It will be nice when the OCR stops increasing.

Every bump is playing chicken with recession vs inflation, and while I understand the necessity it also makes me want to delay our plans in favour of financial security.

Along with the knowledge that life is going to get progressively more difficult for many people, it makes the future feel bleak.

One of the reasons that the US Federal Reserve has been aggressively hiking interest rates was that they believe that the strong jobs market is keeping inflation high. As such, a strong jobs market will give them confidence to keep hiking if necessary.
