This is cool. They put a camera in an RC plane and used FPV goggles to fly in real time. I didn’t know this was already possible with off the shelf DIY. I wonder if it’s hard to set up.

I improved the plane a bit! I'd like to write my own code and design my own electronics (or work with some friends, we're in telecomms after all) but the physycal part is almost finished!

I haven't flown an #RCPlane in eight years, and I miss it. I have a little #drone, but that does NOT count. RC Planes are majestic and elegant. Drones are just Space Invaders in the air. ZERO feeling of flight. :P

Curious if this will get any traction.
My dad built a this ~30 years ago. It's about a 5' wingspan and has a .40 Fox. I can't find anything Midwest, Carl Goldberg, or Sig that looks like it. I'm pretty sure the stickers said "Or What?" but were never put on. Being all one color top and bottom makes it damn hard to fly, can't tell if it's coming or going or what (pun intended). #RCPlane

Airframe completed, colored packing tape applied, only electronics left to install. Hopefully it will perform much better than the NFL team it takes it’s colors from.

OK, finished the landing skid design for the Corsair, it fit's in where the retracts were, which are being replaced because they are too flimsy #RCPlane #FreeCAD
