#ReaderProblem Why do books look more enticing when I should be occupied on other things?
I took a copy of a no-name translation of The Gambler by Dostoevsky and in two pages I already like the personality of our protagonist.
I also started The Iliad in a Spanish hexameter version by Fernando Gutiérrez. It's already recontextualizing my recent reading of The Oresteia (by Fagles).
I'm also reading HP and the Prisoner of Azkaban. It feels old compared to the movie.
"I’ve dedicated my life one way or another to books, I believe in them, yet, I wasn’t able to read them."
I love this powerful article about how we need to retrain our focus to read books ...

#ReaderProblem: I bought a copy of #AGameOfThrones to finally read it in English, and to make it match with the other #books in the series I already had, I bought the #massmarket #paperback with a TV series cover.
My sweaty hands threaten to erase words even if they just hover over a printed line, and it's already getting yellow in the place I grab the pages.
Most other MMPs I own are better, at least with the ink.
