The Ghosts of Metland by C. Dennis Moore.

This the 3rd book in his Angel Hill series which is only connected by the haunted town of Angel Hill so you can start anywhere.

I read the first two so far and enjoyed them. Unlike most I found them genuinely creepy and the working class characters relatable. This one is turning out the same way.

This one is set in a haunted home for abandoned children and it’s new employee.
