I remember 'oak and ash and thorn' from Puck of Pook's Hill and the great god Pan in Wind in the Willows, and a collection of Norse mythology by, I think, Roger Lancelyn Green #readingexperiences

Da setze ich mich mit einem gedruckten Magazin im sparsam beleuchteten Zimmer gemütlich zum #Lesen hin und stelle verwundert fest, dass ich nichts lesen kann. Weil die Zeitschrift nicht leuchtet. Das ist ungefähr so, wie wenn ich im Printbuch die Seite berühre, damit sie sich bitte umblättert. Oder wenn ich versuche, mit spreizenden Fingern eine Schrift zu vergrößern.

Stepped in a book store today to fill in time while Suma was shopping. Just picked up "Love, Freedom and Aloneness" by Osho. Read insights about the difference between being alone and being lonely. Absolute worth read. I just didn't realised that I was reading some 55 mins nonstop. As they say " time flies when in a good company" what better company than books.

The first fantasy books i read were a Raggedy Ann and Andy series by Johnny Gruelle...i got them from the base library...when i was about 7...i think...it started a looooong fall down the fantasy/sci fi rabbit hole, and i feel has enriched my life in so many ways...Parents encourage your kids to resd and let them read whatever they want at whatever age. They will thank you later.
