I'm on the lookout for a new #tablet I've decided. My Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 has served its purpose and is kaputt at this point.

Would be happy to take reccos on a replacement around the same size that allows me to read #ebooks, consume #readwisereader, and just general web browsing and content consumption.

Currently scouring through my e-mails, looking for interesting articles to add to my Readwise Reader (as much as I may like some other alternatives, there is just nothing like it). Then, I’ll purge whaver does not get an “awesome” out of me. Let’s see what I end up with…

@sklc not like that no, i just resent key bindings being changed from expected settings, i got over it, i am now annoyed about profile vs workspace confusion. i do regularly export pages as `singlefile` format, print/save as PDF, and Markdown extraction.

i went nuts all over ArchiveBox and now i am trying to Save to #readwiseReader!

I'm thinking about buying an Amazon #Kindle.

Is it possible to sync PDFs from @zotero onto it reading them on the device?

Books and highlights going to #ReadwiseReader seems to be no problem.

as amazing as #ReadwiseReader is, i think the android app needs work. (degree of difficulty: running on my #boox #noteAir2 digital notebook/ereader. i love it, but it is the only non-drone-related device in my house running android.

i don't suppose anyone has any #userstyle tricks or something to make the highlighter for #ReadwiseReader not make it difficult to read? e.g.

With the document level notes in #ReadwiseReader, I might have found a good foundation for #linkblogging!

Does anyone know how "Books" works in #ReadwiseReader? Can I connect my Kindle account somehow? It's not yet listed under Integrations.

@marcusolsson @omnivore Thanks for the share. I have a subscription that includes #ReadwiseReader that syncs to #obsidian but I'm not in love with it. Too much UI. I don't highlight books on Kindle nearly as much as I highlight articles and PDFs so @omnivore might be exactly what I'm looking for. Playing around with it and so far, I like it. Haven't tried the plug-in yet.

@hellomiakoda I much prefer using RSS, and then saving articles I want to read to #ReadwiseReader.

@foxyloxy It really is a nice service. I feel like the #FeedManagement options are a little under-developed although the product is still very much in development.

I've added a small subset of my #RSSFeeds to #ReadwiseReader so far, although I tend to use it far more for saved articles and #EmailNewsletters.

I've directed almost all my newsletters to Reader and find that really helpful because I import Reader highlights into my @obsidian notes.

First widowed by Google Reader, then remarried Feedly with seasonal affairs with Instapaper and Pocket through Reeder. Finally truly in love with Readwise Reader. Sure the feed feature and absent support for commentary feeds like HN and DF or compact layout and embed support is frustratingly misprioritized but while no one is perfect, look forward to growing old together. #RSS #iOS #Readwise #ReadwiseReader #WebApp https://readwise.io/read

Reader by Readwise is a wonderful app. Didn’t think a read-later app could be this feature rich #readwisereader
