We didn't learn from influenza, SARS, norovirus, … the Penny Arcade Expo the year after I went invented the term " plague", because *everyone* became ill. The first superspreader event in my memory.

It took me years to get from Divorcing Religion to accepting the likelihood of no gods & no afterlife. Indoctrinated from birth, I was a devout Believer, earnestly thinking I heard from God. Examining & rejecting those beliefs came at great cost. Eventually, I rebuilt my life - this time including & an understanding of how beliefs form & why evolved. If you’re your religious beliefs: WAY TO GROW! It gets better

My exam today had a question where I was asked to explain why some American realists blamed policy failure for the war in . I tried to argue that in a world where distribution of determines behaviour, power imbalance following expansion led to a security dilemma which in the end sparked Russian action.
The dominant narrative in Europe is "Putin's war" in Ukraine, but doesn't this lead us to rejecting an important debate our own behaviour and plcy?
