However, as I am not really an SQL pro, I've decided to give #Realm a try first. It seems to have some convenience features I would miss with pure SQLite. Let's see how much time I'll sink into this whole idea now. 🤪

Do you have any experience with that? Really cool would be something like #FluentMigrator on top of it! 🤓

166 followers · 78 posts · Server mastodon.socialIt’s been a couple of crazy weeks but we finally finished the transition from #CoreData & #CloudKit to #Realm & #Atlas as the backend & sync of @cori_care.
We had so many data from each user that thing started getting out of hand.
⏱️ Syncing a new device went from 30 minutes on #iCloud to seconds on Realm.
💾 The same data on Core Data needed 1.5 GB (🫠) of storage VS 200 MB on Realm.
Not an easy task, but this is really a foundation in which we can grow the app.
🚀 March 2nd on the App Store.

It is like Netflix but for your ears. I have been giving it a try during the last few days and so far I love the quality and how the support team is handling the tickets.
