I'll be impressed with AI when it can reproduce an overnight, non-playlisted radio host moving between West African funk, local indie and free jazz in a way that seems random but sounds oh so right, seemingly surviving on cigarettes and coffee, back announcing with talking stories that go nowhere, building a community of listeners who never plan to meet but recognise each other by sight when they ride in the same subway carriage.
