I created a volume automation using loudness to 'ride' my vocal faders in #reaper today. It was very effective! Now I just need to tidy it up with a bit of compression. It saved me a lot of time and kept more of the dynamics compared to compression alone. #music #musicproduction #daw #reaperdaw

One feature I miss the most from Pro Tools was the slow-playback. I used it a ton to double check foley edits, and it was also helpful for pitch-down previewing. So I tried to re-make it in Lua! Might need some tweaking for FX tails, but I think its pretty cool you can make something like this for a DAW. #reaperdaw #audioprogramming #filmaudio

REAPER7のプリリリース版が出ていたので弄ってみました。

Containerというのが出来て、大量のプラグインをコンテナに入れて保存したり呼び出したりできるようになってます。

Cointainerに読み込んだ各プラグインの任意のパラメーターをContainer自体のパラメーターにすることも出来ます。

今まではTrack Templateを使わなければいけなかったエフェクトチェインの使い回しがスッキリと出来るようになってます。

例えばReaSampleO’matic5000を20個くらい読み込んで、それをドラムキットとして保存できます。

そしてコンテナーもトラックも最大チャンネル数が128チャンネルになったので、1トラックの中に128パラアウト出来るキットを作れるのです。

ノートナンバー全部をそれぞれパラアウト出来るという凄さ。

Spend the good chunk of the day writing a #reascript that randomizes CCs. AI generation didn't help much since #reaperdaw's MIDI CC API is blunderous.

At the end of the day, I've got a working one!
Well... Unless I'm not using anything but 4/4 measures...
