Spend the good chunk of the day writing a #reascript that randomizes CCs. AI generation didn't help much since #reaperdaw's MIDI CC API is blunderous.
At the end of the day, I've got a working one!
Well... Unless I'm not using anything but 4/4 measures...
I'm developping a toolbox for Reaper for #VoiceActing, aimed at sound engineers recording dialog sessions (for games, mostly).
As I've mentioned here: https://peoplemaking.games/@slybebop/109314469003102702
The initial presentation of my work went well, it got the interest of a few people looking to talk about it to their peers, so I'm super happy.
Obviously, I had a bug during the demo (ahah expected) but I know where I'm going, and that my work has a purpose.
Will do some alpha updates and probably start recording short videos in english to demo the various features.
You can expect a wider beta starting December / January, hopefully! For now, You'll have to suffer my teases hehe. And if you're really curious about my optimized workflow for session preparation, navigation and metadata insertion, I could always give you an early access before then.
My work will remain free through Reapack !

Final touches today for my presentation on Monday about my Reaper tool / scripts. Lua has been friendly AND has been kicking my butt at the same time.
I'm guessing my biggest hurdle was trying to setup a whole toolbox using 3 programming languages when I knew none at the start. I kept messing up my syntax, especially between .js and .lua .
Anyway, making progress and feeling happy about where I'm at! Can't wait.

I absolutely cannot wait to start my communication push for the tool I'm making for Reaper. Hopefully early 2023, with a post on the forums, a quick promotional video, some Youtube tutorials and all that.
Starting a closed-alpha on monday, it's been a long time coming and I'm excited to hear my friends and colleagues' reactions.
