''Based on sequence analysis, the HA and NA genes showed that this isolate, designated A/ #Taiwan /1/2023 #H1N2v, is a novel #reassortant virus containing HA & NA genes segments derived from #swine influenza A(#H1N2) viruses, which may have been circulating locally for decades. The other 6 internal genes are from #human influenza A #H1N1pdm09 viruses. HA (#H1) belongs to influenza clade 1A, #Eurasian #Avian-like, and shares a similarity of 94% to A/Taiwan/2021 (H1N2)v.''

''he non-negative sample was forwarded to NVSL, where it was identified as #HPAI #H5N6 from #WGS. The virus is a #reassortant of genotype B1.3 with a North American N6 gene. ''
''Phylogenetic analyses showed that it was a sextuple‐#reassortant virus of #H11N9, #H3N8, #H3N6, #H7N9, #H9N2, and #H6N8 viruses present in #China, similar to the H11N9 strains in #Japan and #Korea during the same period. ''
