It seems very silly to give #EV #rebates to people who would have bought the e-car anyway.
Especially when you can get people to buy e-bikes who would not have been able to buy them otherwise, you help people who can't get a driver's license, you also reach first-time bike riders, AND your rebate dollar goes three times farther in terms of decarbonisation.
Why pass up on al that?
The car lobby, is why.

Doesn’t even make sense. The argument seems to be, “the system can’t support the extra visits. So instead of improving or increasing services, cut the visits and pretend the problem doesn’t exist.”
