Marched with leather bears at Croydon Pride today, and this evening watched the Rebel Dykes docu on Channel 4: a powerful portrait of a community of squatters, artists & countercultural queers who staked out space for sexuality, BDSM, art, porn, transness, & radical politics in direct defiance of anti-SM lesbians. I'm sad to have missed that cultural moment, but proud to be following in their footsteps.
