Also, it looks as though #RebelMoon won’t be getting a theatrical release as I was hoping. Not only do I think it’s a mistake on Netflix’s part, it seems like a missed opportunity, particularly with #DunePart2 having been pushed back to early spring. Oh, well… 😔

Bueno, va. Voy a dar mi opinión de Rebel Moon, la que nadie me ha pedido, pero que estoy deseando dar porque soy gilipollas.

En realidad, el tráiler se ve bastante bien. Aunque sea un batiburrillo de mil cosas.

El problema, es que siendo la peli de quien es, yo ya no me fío. Y no me fío, porque yo era de los que deseaba que Zack Snyder hiciese, cuanto antes, obras propias lejos de DC, para que me volviese a gustar. Por eso, cuando salieron los primeros avances de Army of the Dead, os aseguro que estaba expectante, con ganas de pasármelo bien con esa peli.

Y luego vi que era pura serie-Z, pero con todo lo que ello conlleva.

Por eso, con Rebel Moon, si bien tiene buena pinta, desconfío mucho. Tengo la sensación de que va a meter mucha cosa, pero nada va a tener el peso argumental que se merece, y que los personajes van a ir como pollos sin cabeza por la trama, con un desarrollo bastante malo.

Ojalá equivocarme, pero he ahí mi predicción, basada en las cosas que ha hecho ese director estos últimos años.
