I happen to have this very same bat detector so it is interesting to see how it works. Normally it mixes down signals from an ultrasonic transducer but it does that just as well with radio signals from an antenna 😋

I have this set, witch was gummy and sticky because of the bad quality of the plastic. Those kinds of plastics became sticky with time.
The only way to make usable again, was to clean it with alcool.
It work, but it's not nice.
I have another set witch is in better condition, and I'm searching a better solution.
