Gisteren Zuidpool's Long Day’s Journey into Night gezien in De Brakke Grond. Sterke voorstelling met een bijzondere stijlvorm: de vier personages spreken elk een andere (boventitelde) taal. Dat vergroot de afstand tussen de toxische gezinsleden in het stuk maar heeft ook al snel het tegenovergestelde effect: / is een ultieme vorm van communicatieve samenwerking. Juist dat de karakters een eigen spreken maar elkaar begrijpen bindt hen samen.
