Question - "for example, what experiment would you perform to determine the nature of god? "

There is no experiment that can test that question.

"Every culture in all of human history agrees there's something to spirituality. What is it?"

Belief bias isn't proof that the belief is based on objective reality. In fact, belief bias is often the cause of illusions of reality. However, What is it? - passed on cultural ideologies, that had some socially adaptive advantage - that is based on subjective Imagination. Basically, wishful thinking.

"Why is sexuality about more than reproduction?"

I study evolutionary biology. I disagree with that premise. To find out why - study kin altruism scholar.google.com/scholar?hl=

"What will the scientific method tell us definitively about the purpose of our dreams?"

Whilst don't necessarily have to have a purpose as they could *only* be the random firing of brain activity. However, the general hypothesis is that dreams are how the mind (brain, etc) processes information. Basically, evolutionary - sleeping must be very important for brain health - as sleeping (& dreaming) is a vulnerable time for any organism.

However, I think you're asking if dreams have some deeper mysterious meaning that we should analyze. Dreams are physiological (neurological). Their "meaning" is physiological.

I don't tend to research dreams. However, there are scientists that do.

I was explaining to my wife yesterday how gives us a way to find the of a at any point and to illustrate it I wrote a short routine in to draw the to any point on a graph of a function. Here we see the example for the and functions, x^2 and 1/x i.e. a and a respectively.
