Interesting. I used to have my #reclaimhosting domain go to GitHub but this seems like a better solution. In the end, I found I tinker too much with systems like this so I ended up just using WordPress in the end.

@kfitz Nice! I'm a big fan of 11ty, and use it for my DH (side) projects. I currently have these GitHub repos connected to Netlify, so git push-ing an update triggers a build and deployment there. But I've recently shifted my personal sites to Reclaim Hosting, and yours is the second post I've seen recently which talks about using a git repository on Reclaim, so I might need to investigate this further!

@enkerli I hope it is helpful data. #FOSS has huge advantages over the status quo, as organisations like ours have no software-related budgetary concerns, no support contracts or licenses to manage or wait out. WE can experiment a lot and be very agile in tech we adopt and our DLE can evolve with very little friction. It's blissful.

I'm afraid I've never had anything to do with #ReclaimHosting although I'm aware of their initiative and target demographic (I'd say I'm not in it). @openedtech
